Job Profile
As a key member to the team, you will ensure all parts are produced ensuring targets are met for delivery and quality.
You will ensure all quotes are completed to timescales, support customers with quotations and work alongside areas of improvement.

Duties:

  • Preparation of customer data for printing. This may include minor/major fixing and post processing considerations
  • Setting up of builds to a strict schedule using relevant 3D printing software, ensuring lead-times are competitive and vigorously met
  • Support the sales team with technical enquiries (when required)
  • Production and management of standard polymer materials for use in AM machines
  • Quality check of polymer materials to DMC standards
  • Order processing of powder and associated materials
  • Creating process Local Work Instructions and providing training to staff as necessary
  • Help with trouble shooting in event of equipment breakdown
  • Complete maintenance tasks as outlined in schedule with due care and attention
  • Liaise with operations manager to schedule in AM machine maintenance tasks
  • Make recommendations for improvements on equipment and processes

Skills & Attributes:

  • 5years of people management experience in a production environment
  • A strong passion for additive manufacturing/new technologies is desired, demonstrable by either personal projects and or prior work experience
  • Have a good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Technically minded with a keen eye for detail
  • Competent within MS Office
  • Impeccable time management and highly organised
  • Understand the importance of KPI-driven performances
  • Able to adhere to routine procedures and can take full responsibility for your own actions
  • Ambitious, able to think outside the box and provide process improvement input, continuously seeking to improve product quality and production flow
  • A team player with great social and communication skills

Hours of Work:

  • 40hrs per week
  • 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
