Job Description

We are recruiting for Project Workers to work on a Waking Night basis within a supporting housing project in Lancaster for hopelessness.

An established organization that provides support to homeless people within supported housing and social housing services based in Lancaster this project is for adults mixed males and females – 23 residents in total

You will be a skilled worker seeking an opportunity to make a difference to vulnerable people who may have a mental health issue, complex support needs, or homeless issue. You will be flexible to work Waking Nights either on a set rota basis or ad hoc basis, providing basic admin support, domestic duties, adhering to the health and safety of the building.

Ideally you will have experience of working providing support to adults with mental health, homelessness issues or working within a similar project. You will be flexible, reliable and will be looking for Waking nights. You will have excellent communication, and organization skills.

You will need to have at least one year experience of working across the social care sector, or 6 months experience with a relevant social care qualification. An Enhanced DBS will be required.
