This role will form an important part of the IT & Learning Technology team and the post holder will support the use of learning technologies for the purpose of teaching and learning. The role holder will use their knowledge and skills to support and train teaching staff with the aim of enabling them to deliver blended learning courses using a variety of learning technologies. In addition, the post holder will support the management and maintenance of our Chrome books and Google Domain.

The successful candidate is an expert in the use of a variety of learning technologies including all Google Workspace for Education applications. They also have the ability to train and support teaching staff to use these applications both in and out of the classroom. The successful candidate has excellent Knowledge and skills in the use and management of Chromebooks and Google Admin.

MAES is part of Manchester City Council in the Growth and Development directorate.

This post requires an up-to-date Google Educator certificate to at least level 1.

This post is a designated Casual Car User. Therefore you must hold a full valid driving licence at all times and provide your own car for use at work. You will receive the Casual Car User Allowance.
