Our leading edge, dynamic new start-up client is currently searching for a Semiconductor Process Engineer to join the team in Cambridge. The role will involve device and material modelling of compound semiconductor devices as well as device fabrication and testing. Working closely with the Engineering and Product Team and developing future III-V, Gallium Nitiride (GaN) materials and device technologies will be a requirement. Publishing scientific papers and attending conferences will be part of the role.
Required skills for the Semiconductor Process Engineer will include:
- Compound semiconductor materials and device knowledge (Gallium Nitiride, GaN LED)
- Hands-on cleanroom process experience (epitaxy, lithography, deposition, etch etc)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- PhD Physics, materials, engineering or equivalent
