The Role
As a Lecturer in English you will be part of the English & Maths department, contributing to the growth and development of the Technical Centre. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will possess a Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant subject discipline and a recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards this as part of your development.
You must have experience of teaching English in an FE environment and relevant industrial and/or professional experience.
You should also have proven organisational ability, work well as part of a team and be willing to work flexibly. As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
