We are looking for an articulate, driven and detail-oriented individual to join our product development team, working on enhancing and maintaining some of our successful testing tools used by TV manufacturers around the world. This will include:

  • Analysing technical standards, specifications, and test requirements
  • Designing, implementing, and validating new features, test cases, media streams and bug fixes
  • Break down complex tasks into simpler ones and providing effort estimates for them
  • Taking ownership for the completion and overall quality of tasks
  • Reviewing your teammates’ work
  • Preparing customers’ deliveries
  • Contributing new ideas and improvements to products, infrastructure, or processes
  • This role would be suitable for someone recently with a degree in engineering/ computer science or equivalent qualifications and experience or even someone who is looking for a career change.

  • Desirable but not mandatory

  • Knowledge of the broadcast industry (DVB), Digital TV, audio/video technology and media transport.
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts (test flow, functions, loops, scope of variable, conditional statements).
  • Exposure to or interest in programming JavaScript, Python)
  • Familiarity with software development concepts and tools (Agile, Continuous Integration, Version Control, JIRA, Jenkins, Subversion, Redmine).
  • Knowledge of Windows command prompts.
  • Degree in science or engineering

    The Company
    Eurofins Digital Testing specialises in conformance testing solutions for the broadcast, media, and consumer electronics industry. We have extensive expertise in R&D, delivering bespoke professional tools to broadcasters, TV operators, standards organisations, and consumer electronics manufacturers.

    The Location:
    Eurofins Digital Testing offices are based in Bristol City Centre. We are right next to Cabot Circus and many bars and restaurants. Our office is easy to commute to and has fantastic views over the city centre too. This area is a great place to live and work, with lots going on.
