plus £1,117 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated experienced RMN to join our Community Psychiatric Nursing Team in Lewis and Harris. Applications are invited from qualified nurses who are seeking to develop their career in a newly developing and challenging service.
The successful candidate will be committed to providing a responsive service for people in crisis who have involvement with the police, probation services, court services, and homeless services. The Liaison & Diversion Practitioner will assess people where potential mental health, learning disability or other vulnerability need is suspected and advise partner agencies on specific areas of Mental Health, Learning Disability, Substance Misuse needs, and, where relevant the impact on their offending behaviour to help inform appropriate custodial or alternative to custody options.
