Responsibilities
Include
Leading and prioritising platform service requirements
Define and manage the product strategy and roadmap
Work with customers, field organizations and other PMs across our vertical businesses to capture product requirements and feedback
Create use cases, requirements, and user stories for product development.
Evangelize product roadmap with analysts, and field organizations
Define key metrics for measuring product success.
Define new product feature qualification criteria and help prioritize the product roadmap
Contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, and high quality.
Work with UX processes and the UX team to conceptualise and visualise the features to be delivered
Engages frequently with the development team
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong technical background, with experience in software development projects
Comes from a development/platform architecture background
Minimum 5 years of software product management or technical product management experience required
Proven experience of delivering technical product capabilities within a Software as a Service domain
Experience of defining and delivering product capabilities geared towards supporting a SaaS product
Working within a trusted and cross-functional teams where recognised strengths are encouraged
Exceptional communicator and negotiator, with strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
High attention to detail
Proven experience in successfully leading project teams with multifaceted, competing priorities and deadlines, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic regions
Strong understanding of system design and development concepts and technologies
Worked in an agile environment with agile tools and platforms (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
Be comfortable with UX processes within the requirement definition space
Good understanding of the agile processes and the Product Owner’s responsibilities such as maintaining a Product Backlog and maximising the value of the work done by the team
Ability to write well-defined User Stories/Use Cases and acceptance criteria
Lead product strategy by harnessing the collective knowledge of all stakeholders (engineers, CTO, clients) and develop detailed requirements and features that are cost effective
Support engineering resources in creating effective wireframes and technical specifications that will deliver on the business requirement
Desired Experience:
Strong B2B SaaS product management experience from any sector
Previous experience in a similar role within a B2B SaaS environment
Experience with multi could deployments (AWS, Azure, Google)
