This position is a jointly funded initiative between Exeter City Council and the National Probation Service in recognition of the need to improve housing outcomes for prisoners approaching discharge and at risk of homelessness.
The post-holder will routinely liaise with criminal justice partners, ECC homelessness teams, potential landlords and a variety of support services.
A key expectation will be to support the “Duty to Refer” process and navigate potential accommodation pathways in support of beneficiaries to prevent homelessness.

The post will be situated within the Navigator Complex Needs Team based at CoLab, Exeter – a multi-disciplinary hub for vulnerable people.
