We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Support Worker to provide housing related support to homeless ex offenders and clients living in the community within our Birmingham service.

The new post is based at our Handsworth accommodation project offering tenancy related support to homeless ex-offenders.
The role is to provide person centred support to our clients to resettle them back into the Community; leading to fulfilled lives, improved life choices, a reduction in offending and safer communities.
Our clients have a diverse range of support needs therefore it is an essential element of this role that you have experience and relevant knowledge of the needs of ex-offenders and vulnerable people and how these needs can be met.
We need someone who is confident to work within a small team as well as being a lone worker. You will be proficient in using Microsoft Office packages and maintaining accurate written records.
The post holder is required to take responsibility for completing all essential support tasks as a Support Worker whilst maintaining Professional Boundaries and Confidentiality.
No two days are the same in this role which is what makes it so enjoyable.
