Plant Engineer required for a well-established plant hire company who can offer long term job stability and a friendly team. This role is ideal for candidates looking for a days based role with no required call out.
Candidates will be mechanically biased engineers from any background. You will ideally have experience working with plant equipment, ex-forces candidates and applicants with a similar background are encouraged to apply as full training can be offered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and cleaning hire equipment such as excavators, dumpers and diggers when they are returned to site. You will work with diesel engines, petrol engines, hydraulic machinery, and electric machines.
You will spend 90% of your time based on site however occasionally you will be required to travel offsite if problems during rental occur. Most rental is within a 20-mile radius of Croydon and a vehicle will be provided. No call out is required.
