The salary for a Senior Support Worker (Enhanced) is £28,.00

Our client is a leading homelessness charity in London, providing housing and support to over 1, people each year. They offer support tailored to meet peoples individual needs, including housing, employment and skills training, mentoring and counselling.

They are offering a number of support worker and senior support workers roles across their supported housing services in Croydon. Successful applicants will be placed in a service and will work with the customers who live there to help them to reach their potential and improve their quality of life. The role will build on customer care, health and safety, flexibility, adaptability and other skills to assist homeless individuals who are unable to live independently, by offering them the practical and emotional support they need to regain their independence.

Theyre looking for those who have experience of supporting vulnerable people to achieve independent living that have knowledge of safeguarding issues and how they apply in day to day work. Due to the nature of the role youll need an understanding of the reasons why people become homeless and the needs and challenges they face and of statutory and voluntary resources available to homeless people including an understanding of welfare benefits.
