BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The postholder will be responsible for maintaining and increasing headcounts in our Operational teams (production and warehouse). They will drive compliance and consistency in their recruitment activities and work with the wider HR team in attracting and retaining quality staff.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the HR team, regularly review operational recruitment plans to meet short and long-term headcount plans.
  • Optimise the use of the Decora careers website.
  • Advertising using various methods, such as job boards and social media, whilst ensuring vacancies are updated on a regular basis.
  • Have an awareness of budget and spend per campaign.
  • Process applications and arrange registration appointments with candidates (virtual and face-face), providing candidates with relevant job information and keeping them up-to-date throughout the process.
  • Carry out registration interviews to include document verification, right to work checks and selection testing.
  • Liaise with internal teams to schedule commencement dates based on required headcount, department and shift requirements.
  • Issue contractual documentation, new starts forms, health declaration forms and policies, ensuring all documentation is returned and stored confidentially.
  • Co-ordinate online inductions through OBBI system.
  • Provide weekly updates and statistical recruitment information to internal teams and contribute to monthly HR reports.
  • Update relevant HR systems with applicant details and new start information.
  • Collate exit information and provide Managers and HR team with analysis / trends.
  • Process general HR and recruitment administration e.g. creating electronic personnel files, updating records, monitoring information etc.

  • Effectively manage the on-boarding process in conjunction with internal departments.
  • Benchmark the market to support and develop new and innovative means to attract candidates.
  • Flexible to travel to other sites as and when required.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time, including discretional overtime.
  • ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 2-years previous experience working in recruitment or a HR related field
  • Experience of managing high volume recruitment activities
  • Knowledge of computerised HR / clocking systems
  • Ability to articulately and positively promote the company to an external audience
  • Strong planning, organisation and administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of confidentiality
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
  • Proficient in written and spoken English with strong ability to communicate effectively
  • Full clean UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
  • DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in HRM or a business-related discipline
  • Knowledge of PAMS
  • Knowledge of working with an ATS
  • Experience of gathering, analysing and reporting on key HR data/statistics
