Support Worker
Liverpool
£25, – £28, per annum

We are currently recruiting for Support Workers, based at a new service providing 24 hour housing support and housing management to single people and couples who are homeless.

Your role will involve:
*Undertaking risk assessments and developing risk management plans
*Carrying out assessments of new presenting clients.
*Providing support to resolve crisis and meet immediate needs.
*Providing appropriate, reliable advice and advocacy, making referrals to more specialized agencies as appropriate.
*Offering advice and assistance to ensure that all necessary finance including Housing Benefit and other welfare benefits are claimed.
*Acting as keyworker, working with the client towards an effective move-on plan in collaboration with key agencies
*Supporting a range of one to one and group interventions and activities aimed at building confidence and developing new skills
*Ensuring the standard of accommodation and grounds are of a consistently high standard
*Ensuring personal service charges are collected and recorded appropriately and that any issues are addressed rapidly
*Undertaking room checks and support residents in the management of their room and relationships with others.
*Maintaining accurate up to date records, reports, data and case files that conform to in house protocols and fulfil contract requirements and service level agreements.

This is a full time position, £25, – £28, per annum.
