At Peabody we are committed to providing assistance to our own vulnerable tenants and people living in our communities who need support to live well and independently. We provide specialist housing, care and support to people who are socially excluded, disabled, unwell or homeless.
You will provide a service where planned support and crisis intervention is delivered to vulnerable people with low, medium and high support needs living in independent accommodation with the aim of them maintaining their home.
The service will operate Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm but some appointments outside of these hours might be required. You will work as part of a team of 5 Outreach Support Workers across the Borough of Tower Hamlets. You will carry out face to face visits with customers in a variety of locations within the Borough and also use Zoom etc to keep in touch with your customers. You will need to be able to participate in an out of hours on call system for the service on a rota basis with an additional payment being made.
