Job Title: IT Coordinator

Advantage resourcing are working in partnership with a growing Technology company who are currently recruiting an IT Co-ordinator who is a clear and effective communicator with drive and integrity and an interest in developing a career in IT.

The suitable candidate would be able to:

  • Provide administrative and team support to EIT
  • Assist IT Analyst(s) in technical support and request fulfilment
  • Monitor the EIT resolver group queue and shared mailbox and allocate tasks to team members
  • Assist IT Analysts(s) in management and control of all IT stock
  • Provide administrative support for the delivery of EIT projects and BAU tasks
  • Maintain the EIT project and task portfolio
  • First point of contact for ad hoc support of local users as required in the office environment
  • Assist the IT Analyst(s) with asset management of IT equipment, ordering of consumables and disposal of redundant and broken items ensuring WEEE compliance
  • Assist IT Manager and IT Director with processing and GRN of Purchase Orders and invoice queries
  • Assist the IT Manager in maintaining all Knowledgebase Articles, guidance documents and publication/circulation on Intranet or other reference portals
  • Assist in management of the mobile telephony account, ordering new handsets, connections and SIMs, ensuring connections for leavers are re-used or ceased, and producing both scheduled and ad-hoc reports on assets and usage
  • Manage the overall staff resource availability calendar ensuring that team members feed into it so activities, changes, holidays, milestones, reporting requirements and deadlines are captured and communicated
  • Provide cover and assistance to the IT Analyst(s) at peak times, breaks or through unavailability
  • Arrange and co-ordinate EIT meetings, take and distribute minutes and chase actions
  • Co-ordinate and collate all scheduled reports from teams and systems to ensure the IT Manager has a digest and detail of departmental activities to feed into monthly IT Operations meetings
  • Ensure printer toner stocks are maintained across all sites
  • Skills required:

  • Competence in core MS Office applications including Teams, but specifically Word and Excel
  • Educated to A level or higher, preferably with a technical bias
  • Familiarity with IT devices and operating systems, such as Windows 10, iOS, Android
  • Appreciation of Active Directory and Exchange functions and use
  • Appreciation of Cyber Security, Endpoint protection, Antivirus technologies, Web & mail Filtering
  • Familiarity with mobile comms and telephony including tablets
  • Produce or collate ad hoc reports for IT Manager as required
  • Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
