An exciting opportunity has become available at our Leicester Dealership for a Yardman / Driver.

Yardman / Driver Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vehicles are collected from and delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
  • Steam clean and valet vehicles as required.
  • Collect/deliver parts out of hours as requested and in the absence of the Parts Delivery Driver.
  • Assist when required with the general maintenance and repair services for the depot.
  • Ensure the yard area is kept clean, tidy and organised.
  • Carry out receiving inspections of new vehicles as directed by the Supervisor/Chargehand.
  • Refuelling of vehicles and ad-blue.
  • Ensure safe working practices are employed and report any vehicle defects to your Supervisor.
  • Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times.
  • To observe Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • To follow any reasonable request made by the Service Manager or his representative in the operation of the Service Department.

    • The successful candidate will have a Class 1 License and previous experience in a similar role.
