Serve as overarching manager of website including content, design, maintenance, evaluation, and improvement initiatives.
* Managing resource partners – internal and external, for timely results and resolution when issues arise.
* Inspire and oversee Digital Content Managers and Developers to deliver on all aspects of daily operations, including website content and design, and related online activities
* Assess website traffic consistently, responding to indicators that require action to correct any potential problems or opportunities.
* Work within overall Marketing strategy to position content to resonate with existing customers as well as engage and attract new customers.
* Develop and execute content strategies that support user needs and deepen visitor engagement on the companies website.
* Maintain the overall integrity of the content on the website and monitor adherence to established website policies and standards.
* Conduct regular content audits and oversee regular maintenance of all content, in order to maintain high standards for information architecture and overall user experience, e.g. removing and updating old links, redundant or outdated content, or unused/orphaned pages and documents; and optimizing underperforming content.
* Utilize web analytics and performance data to recommend strategy and improvements to the sites, including identification of content gaps; keyword use and effectiveness; and content effectiveness.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align on strategy, define priorities, share site performance and outline improvement opportunities and plans.
* Collaborate with UX designer to create and review site structure, taxonomy, and nomenclature for the most intuitive presentation of content.
* Optimize web content and features for SEO, by ensuring best practices are followed for meta data, page titles, content structure, and URLs, to enhance search performance and provide users with relevant search results on the companies website.
* Keep up with content, web, and digital advertising trends, innovations, and interactive technologies; make recommendations on new features and applications.

The Successful Applicant

* Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital marketing or business preferred or commensurate experience
* Extensive experience working in a marketing environment with a digital focus
* Extensive Internet technology and Web development experience
* Experience in leading large projects requiring coordination of website content and technical requirements between cross-departmental teams as well as outside vendors
* Knowledge of content strategy and information architecture (IA) best practices, and the elements of strong user experience
* Experience with CMS (Contentful and Drupal preferred), website production, maintenance and optimization
* Ability to manage/develop logical website architecture
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Proven ability to manage and develop teams with varying degrees of technical knowledge
* Ability to quickly learn/manage new software packages and keep current with emerging web technologies
* Experience with Meta Data, Search Engine Optimization, Google Analytics and other related search/web stat tools
