CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER
SALARY: £19,200 PLUS ON CALL ALLOWANCE
BS Social Care and delighted to be working alongside an innovative children’s residential provider as they search for new support and senior support workers for their two sites in Newcastle and Morpeth.
The organisation are new to children’s residential provision but have moved into the sector after a long established, successful delivery of adult complex needs residential services.
There are three homes who look after children of different age ranges. You will have experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting. You will be empathic but also need to be robust and able to challenge in difficult situations.
You will work alongside the management and support team to provide a safe and secure home to give the young people a change to thrive. You will work to the children’s support plans to help them achieve goals or aspirations that they have. You will work alongside other professional to provide essential and wraparound services for the young people including education, health and recreation.
You will be able to evidence why you are fit and suitable to embark on or develop a career in children’s residential- paid experience, volunteering and relevant qualifications will all be considered in this regard.
You need to have a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.
