Logistics Coordinator

We are currently looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to join our award-winning business in Birkenhead.

This is an office-based role where you will use your skills and experience to process sales orders, arrange transport, complete shipping and export documentation. Initially for UK and European customers, the role will then develop with you supporting new customers in Africa, Middle East, and Asia, working closely with internal and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities include:

Processing of UK, European & Export Orders, and support of those customers throughout the sales process.
Preparation of documentation, bill of lading and commercial invoices
Keep customers up to date on their orders or delays
Liaison with Operations & Despatch Teams
To arrange collection and shipment of orders
The processing of proforma invoices and Letters of credit transactions
Receive credit application agreements and work with the accounts department to ensure timely set up of new customer accounts
Skills & Experience required includes:

Strong IT, communication, and teamwork skills
Experience of Sage 200 or another CRM system is beneficial
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
