Trainee Steel Processor / Temp to perm / Aston / 9.50 per hour.

We are looking to recruit for a large established Steel Processing company in the Aston area. No industry experience is required as full training will be given, with long-term opportunities and career progression available for the right candidate.
Tasks and duties you will train for will include:
- Operating overhead cranes with various attachments (c-hook, slings etc.) to move different types of steeln
- Loading / unloading vehicles and assisting with loading / offloading steel onto machine lines
- Banding, packing and palletising stock on the back end of the machines
- Using the in house computer system to record stock data
- Training up to run different machines/lines ie. Slitting lines
The position will be working Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays, totalling 39 hours per week. It starts paying 9.50 per hour.
A background in the industry is not required. If you do have some experience however, it may be beneficial to your application.
