Position Summary:

The role of the Data Quality Analyst is to actively monitor the quality of all data sources, Problem solving and root cause analysis. Develop creative solutions for complex requirements by using SQL/PLSQL, including use of flexible and configurable products. Design and build metrics to monitor and ensure data quality.

Duties & Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Data Quality Team to establish and update quality characteristics and standards.
  • Assess data requirements by studying business processes and desired output of each process.
  • Work with informatica team and perform UAT testing.
  • Effective use of Data Visualization tool – such as Tableau, Advance excel.
  • Continuous Improvement – consistently looks for better ways to achieve business results; recognizes problems as opportunities for process improvement.
  • Create effective SQL/PLSQL queries for profound data analysis.
  • Ability to be decisive and take into account consequences of decisions.
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.
  • Functional/Technical Expertise – demonstrates of a high level of technical and professional skills; takes action to continue to develop areas of expertise.
  • Design and build metrics to monitor data quality.
  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science, Oracle database or experience in a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the IT and Data Analytics industry preferred
  • Automotive experience a plus
  • Machine Learning a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment with ownership
  • SQL and PL-SQL skills – mandatory
  • Experience with Unix shell scripting a plus
  • Experience with Data Analyst skills (Gathering requirements and understand it fully, creating test plans)
  • Experience testing and debugging Data and mapping issues.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Experience in Visualization tool is plus
  • Experience with informatica concepts is plus.
  • Oracle SQL/PLSQL Create and Optimization of complex is mandatory, and Control-M experience are a plus.
  • Have an excellent client service ethos and be able to communicate effectively with internal Sales Support and fellow team members
  • Strong articulation, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • The ideal candidate will need to be detail oriented and task driven with a strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
