Your new company
You will be working for an excellent supported housing provider in Bristol who support a variety of service users with complex needs including mental health, substance misuse and homelessness. You will be joining an organisation who make a real difference to their local community, providing community and housing support enabling service users to move towards independence.

Your new role
You will be providing homeless support to those who may be homeless or at risk of homelessness and also have additional mental health and complex needs. You will be putting together risk assessments, support plans, and monitoring these through the service user’s journey. You will provide emotional and practical support with regards to mental health, homelessness, housing options, benefits and budgeting. You will also identify those who may be “hidden homeless”.

What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a range of experience in working within supported housing, mental health and complex needs. You will need to have a positive and proactive attitude, flexibility as there may be some additional weekend work required, good communication and admin skills and ability to work in a team. Knowledge of homeless options in Bristol would be highly advantageous.

You must have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
