Male/Female support worker required to work with adults and with complex needs!
BS Social Care are currently looking for experienced support workers to work in a Homeless Hostel for adults with complex needs in East London.
Details of the role:
Position: Support Worker
Location: East London
Hours: Temp or Perm contract
You will be playing an important role in providing excellent support and care for the clients. Your daily tasks as a support worker will include assisting service users, many who are struggling with mental health issues, homelessness, and substance misuse. It is important for you to be able to pay close attention to your surroundings communicating and liaising with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
Duties:
Domestic duties/tasks
Promoting and ensuring privacy and dignity
Understanding their communication needs and adapting your communication to each individual, e.g. sounds, tones, body language.
Providing emotional support to individuals
Shift Patterns flexible working hours
Minimum requirements to work with BS Social Care as a Care Worker:
Recent Care experience
You must have the right to work in the UK
You must have a good level of English and be able to communicate
A warm and personable nature with the ability to work with patience and understanding.
DBS on update service or willing to do one.
