Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage large strategic projects within GR&D and firm-wide; particularly for the roll-out of new concepts, creating timelines, relevant milestones, etc.
  • Propose, negotiate, record, and monitor KPIs and other business information to evaluate progress on GR&D and firm initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with other departments including Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Information Technology
  • Collaborate with other departments throughout the lifecycle of an index to launch
  • Compile data, create presentations and interactive dashboards, as well as actively lead meetings and working group sessions
  • Set agendas for key meetings / summarize and follow up to ensure accurate and timely execution
  • Prepare high quality materials for townhalls and other events
  • Participate in the on-boarding of new joiners, updating training manuals and exercises
  • Create manuals and document new processes for continuing education
  • Manage budgeting across all of GR&D
  • Manage vendor relationships and user applications
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Understanding of, or interest in, global financial markets, indexing, and operations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects independently
  • Comfortable working across a diverse set of regions, cultures, and business practices with the ability to quickly develop productive working partnerships over a computer screen as well as in-person
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Clearly communicate (verbal + written + presentation material) to a variety of audiences
  • Other Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant experience in finance, project management, or a similar role
  • Exposure to global financial markets in publicly traded assets (equities, fixed income, commodities, currencies)
  • Exposure to indexing
  • Knowledge of vendor terminals and vendors data and analytical platforms
  • Knowledge of project management software such as Monday.com, etc.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish
