Salary £18,300-£20,300 per annum – depending on skills and experience

About the role

You will work alongside the current project officer delivering the health years ahead programme in Walsall. The purpose is to ensure all adults from middle age (age 40 years and upwards) understand the practical healthy lifestyle choices and other steps they can take (e.g staying active, maintaining good bone health, having regular sight and hearing tests, looking after their feet) to improve their health and reduce the risk of falls and chronic illness or disorders into later life. This will be done through 121 sessions, group presentations, social media and promotion.

About you

You will have knowledge and understanding of the complex issues that can affect people aged 40 years and over.

You will have experience of delivering presentations in group settings and obtaining demographic data and feedback from participants.

You will have experience of working in a diverse environment, recognising the different needs of people and the provision of service with equality of access.

You must have the ability to complete necessary administration tasks accurately, collate data and contribute to quarterly reports.
