Salary – £23,900 – £29,800 per annum – depending on skills and experience

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a full time permanent Income Officer to join our Finance Team.

You will provide accurate and timely rent services are delivered in order that the Group maximises income collection and cost efficiency and meet the needs of the business in providing rent services, and regulation and legislation compliance.

Within the role, you will be required to process the annual rent rises, ensuring that rents charged are correct, adhering to Local Housing Allowances, and advise customers appropriately as well as calculate the annual rental income budget, ensuring consistency with the rent rise process.

You will also ensure that the charges are correct and relevant, in line with the various legal contracts.

About you

It is essential that you hold an AAT qualification or that you are qualified by experience.

You will have an understanding of housing sector rent regime and RSH Rent Standard, and its application and an understanding of general income and debtors cycle.

You must be able to adjust to new business environments, be a fast learner and work with a broad range of staff in a wide-ranging business and culture while maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to enable operating within an organisation of different businesses.
