Want to make a difference in your community? We are working with a national client who provides transitional supported housing to vulnerable adults and families at risk of homelessness.
The client provides intensive Housing Management services which aim to empower residents with the right tools to live independently.
What will you be doing?
Working as part of a team, the main role is to manage a portfolio of properties and tenancies across a designated area. You will be working with families who are at risk of becoming homeless with the main goal of the role being to support that family.
– You’ll hold weekly meetings with each household to complete support logs.
– You’ll be reviewing and undertaking application reports and completing assessments.
– Act as an advocate for residents so that they can access services.
– Sign up residents to correct tenancy agreements and assist residents to seek extra government support.
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience within the housing sector such as working as a recovery worker or with the homeless. Being a driver is not essential but desirable as there may be some travel which is fully expensed.
37.5 hrs per week, Monday – Friday . Temp contract through Brook Street Social Care (rolling), opportunity to become permanent after fourteen weeks. If you need more hours, we can increase the contract hours to 48 hrs to suit your needs.
