EDM empowers those who understand the data to manage the data, no matter the complexity, volume, or scope of the project.

About Us
The Associate Consultant role is part of a professional services team based in Manchester working with clients globally primarily on implementation activities for the EDM product suite.
The team is coached and led by a senior member of the team, and are trained in using SQL Server, the EDM application, and in the informational needs of modern financial institutions.
It is a dynamic role and provides a fantastic opportunity to build a solid career solving the data management issues of global top tier institutions.

Your Role
A good mix of technical competency, business/data expertise and project management skills are required.

  • Develop a working level knowledge of the EDM software application.
  • Operate in a consultative role supporting the configuration of the EDM Platform, per specifications, to meet agreed deliverables and deadlines.
  • Testing the project deliverables ensuring they are in line with documented requirements.
  • Track and manage issues that impact the delivery of EDM functionality
  • Handle internal and external requests for EDM packages.
  • Identify, communicate, and document potential deviations to agreed project scope
  • Interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows.

    You are a delivery-focused individual. You enjoy problem-solving and making an impact toward successful project and service delivery.

    Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Recent graduate educated to degree-level or equivalent (preferably STEM subjects)
  • Strong interest of Financial, Energy and/or Maritime and Trade Markets solutions and concepts
  • Appreciation of the Project Management and Project Lifecycle
  • Self-starter with an attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ambitious and looking to build on their university career in a fast-moving environment
  • Understanding of relational databases, data mining, data warehousing and data modelling concepts
  • SQL skills (or other relevant programming languages)
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Strong team player
