Our Waltham Forest Youth Accommodation Services have a vacancy for a new Service Manager to join the team. Based at Leyton, this Service in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, provides a variety of accommodation with support to young people aged 16 and over. As the Service Manager, you will work to develop the service and lead and motivate the team, to deliver a creative and responsive support, that empowers our young people to achieve their aspirations and make positive and sustainable life changes. You will be required to undertake work with the head of service to ensure the service is run in line with the regulatory body Ofsted. You will be responsible for developing the service in line with organisational and statutory requirements, including monitoring the standards of care & support in the scheme and ensuring that the needs of the young people are fully met. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about and experienced in working with young or vulnerable people. You will also be able to: Manage the delivery of a service to young people with a diverse range of needs, including those leaving care, offending, substance use, mental health or homelessness. Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders. Motivate and lead a team through change and shape services to meet local priorities.
