Retirement Scheme Manager (Residential)

Salary – £18,300-£20,300 per annum – depending on skills and experience

Contract type – Permanent 35 hours

Working hours – Full Time

About the role

You will manage a development of 38 leasehold retirement flats and bungalows at Windmill Close, Worcester.

You will monitor the general welfare of residents, including responding to emergencies.

You will be carrying out personal visits to residents as required.

You will contact residents using the warden call system or by telephone on a daily basis or as required by residents.

You will respond effectively to residents calling on the warden call system and to co-ordinate responses from next of kin or the appropriate emergency services when necessary.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

You will have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, external agencies and other GreenSquareAccord staff, both verbally and in writing.

You must have the ability to network with external agencies providing services to older people and with other departments of GreenSquareAccord.

You will be able to deal effectively with conflict and confrontation
