We are recruiting health care assistants to be based on Poppy Ward at Ellesmere Port Hospital. Poppy Ward is an 18 bedded general rehabilitation ward, which also has facility for a community step up bed and is managed by our Hospital at Home team. You will be supporting patients who have experienced a period of ill health or injury to regain their independence and help support to rehabilitate them back to doing the things that are important to them. As a health care assistant, you will be working in a friendly supportive environment, delivering care, and assisting in maintaining therapy to our patients whilst working alongside our experienced nursing and therapy team.

Ellesmere Port Hospital is a 3 warded rehabilitation hospital, whose aim is to deliver patient centred care, we are currently undergoing development change, expanding our ward base and criteria of patients, and we therefore need enthusiastic, caring, and forward-thinking staff to join our friendly established team.
