Salary – £23,900 – £35,800 (+ Essential Car Allowance) per annum – depending on skills and experience

About the role

We are now recruiting for a Community Housing Officer on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be there to support GreenSquareAccord`s aim of valuing our customers by meeting housing and related needs on a cross tenure patch.

You will be working both independently and as part of a team; to pro-actively deliver a high quality housing management service, focusing on customer satisfaction and value for money.

You will need to manage complex tenancy issues including property condition and ASB cases. You will work independently in challenging situations and with changing priorities striving to add value to everything you do.

About you

You will need a good general or technical education beyond GCSE e.g. 2 or more A- Levels/NVQ3 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level.

You will have knowledge and experience of housing and tenancy law; including succession, mutual exchange, assignments and ending tenancies.

You will have experience of tenancy or leasehold management and enforcement.

You will have experience of partnership working.

You must have the ability to carry out enforcement action whilst providing or sign posting customers to, support in order to maintain their tenancies.

You must be highly organised with the ability to self-manage a diverse and varied case load, prioritising work effectively and to a high standard and quality to meet targets.
