This is a specialist role within the criminal justice sector. You will be delivering a cutting-edge project aimed at helping ex-offenders reintegrate back into society by helping them progress towards Employment, Training, and Education. What is the role? You will be working on a cutting-edge contract, and the big aim is to stop re-offending. Together with their supply chain partners, you will provide specialist support to ensure that people do not re-offend by ensuring that they have a stable progressive release, with support around housing, family re-integration, drug and alcohol support (delivered by partner providers) and employment support (delivered by yourself).You will work with a caseload of 50, which will consist of low-high level risk ex-offenders i.e., sex offenders – so you need to be confident, and adaptable to challenging situations. Targets? There are a range of targets to work to – such as job starts, specialist support, soft skills, enrolments, or general support measures, so you need to be goal and target motivated with the ability to work independently. Where will I be based? You will be based at Stoke on Trent – travel within the region is required so you must be flexible to travel (you will be based at the closest probation centre near you)You MUST have access to a vehicle (mileage is covered at 45p per mile) Who are we looking for?
