Do you have experience as a Resettlement Officer? Do you want to travel to help vulnerable tenants ? I’m excited to be able to recruit for a local authority who are looking for an experienced Resettlement Officer to join their knowledgeable Housing Needs team. As part of the role, you will provide flexible support and resettlement advice to vulnerable tenants.
Key Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of housing Legislation including: the Homeless Reduction Act 2017, Housing Act 1996, as well as supporting legislations including the Children Act and the Care Act.
Effectively manage a caseload of vulnerable tenants in temporary housing and then assess their housing and supporting needs.
To work with customers to review, update, and then implement their Personal Housing Plans (PHP) to help reduce homelessness.
The ability to efficiently record data on homelessness for the submission to the Department of Communities and Local Government.
