We require a highly motivated, proactive and experienced or aspiring PracticeManager to join us on a 2 year fixed term contract for 37.5 hours per weeksplit over five days Monday to Friday.
Locala have 2 GP practice sites; this position will cover both practices so excellent time management is key to the role.
The services are currently delivered 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 08.00 to 18.30 and some evening or Saturday morning working may be required in line with the local primary care network requirements.
Main duties of the job
TheWhitehouse Centre is a specialist GP practice which primarily delivers care to vulnerablegroups such as asylum seekers, homeless, drug & alcohol dependent patientsand sex workers in the Huddersfield area. They are a small team of cliniciansand administrators with some PCN ARRS roles supporting the practice.
Calder Community Practice is a busy GP surgery in Todmordenwith a list of around 3000 patients. The practice serves the local community inTodmorden and offers regular primary care services.
Theworkload is challenging but extremely rewarding. Previous experience of primary care is highlydesirable as is knowledge of Systmone, however other clinical workingexperiences will be taken into consideration so long as the applicant has beenworking as/or is currently working in a clinical healthcare management role.
Strongmanagement and leadership skills are required for this post to lead & supportthese small, but diverse teams to achieve not only outstanding patient care andbusiness outcomes but also to achieve an outstanding team environment.
