Community Support Worker

We are working with a Community Interest Company (CIC) which provides NHS funded services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.  These services include supporting people to recover and rehabilitate in the place they call home, following a stay in hospital.

As a Community Support Worker, you’ll be a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, working closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.  You will support people in their familiar surroundings (at home, in a care home or a community rehabilitation unit), providing functional assessments, ongoing rehabilitation, daily living and personal care support. 

Successful candidates will be comfortable working on their own in the community, have excellent verbal communication skills and use their initiative to ensure individuals receive the best support for their needs. Full and part-time hours are available and our client will support flexible working patterns. Currently the service runs from 8am -10pm – 7 days a week and vacancies are across Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire.

 

Salary Band 3: £21,730 to £23,177 a year

Hours: Full or part time, flexible (some weekends included)

Annual Leave: 27-33 days annual leave
