Your new company
Hays are partnering with a local homeless charity who provide emergency accommodation to women who have been victims and fleeing domestic violence. They take refuge in the supported accommodation where the charity support them reengage with society and live more independent lives, with most occasions including you children.

Your new role
Your role will be to work as a member of the refuge team, providing access to emergency accommodation for victims/survivors of domestic abuse by providing an on-site concierge function as part of the 24/7 staff rota. The role includes providing practical housing support, including health, safety & security measures in a supported housing environment.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate for this position you will need to have prior experience of working within a housing support environment with good knowledge of the referral process and how to manage the process for emergency referrals as well as provide a empathetic & compassionate approach to current residents. You will also have a good understanding of performing building health & safety checks.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a charity to do some excellent work with victims of domestic violence. You will be contracts to part time hours which can be flexible during the week to offer you the freedom any other commitments you may have. The salary is £22,500 pro rata.
