Your new company
You will be working for an organisation who develop their housing and support services alongside the tenants, partners and commissioners ensuring that they tailor their approach and effectively support people to move forwards in their lives, build their resilience and ultimately reach their potential. With extensive experience of supporting those who are marginalised and with complex needs, their services deliver directly to people coming out of prison, disadvantaged young people including those who have been in care among many others.

Your new role
You will be working as part of a team, managing a portfolio of properties and tenancies across a designated area, providing an intensive Housing Management Service to a core group of people which will be:

  • Directly supporting tenants to manage their tenancy, assisting them with housing benefit claims and signposting them to relevant support services and liaising with support services where required.
  • Conducting initial and regular assessments of the potential or actual service user including any risks, their needs, and requirements in respect of the service, to determine eligibility for the service taking necessary action where required are delivered.
  • Work closely with the Asset Management team on ensuring property standards are maintained, repairs are reported in a timely way and ensuring the properties are suitable for letting and safe occupation.
  • Working with the Housing Management Team to ensure the correct tenancies are issued, sign up new tenancies and ensure the service user understands and accepts tenancy obligations.
  • Temporary contract for 3+ months, potential of extension and temp to perm opportunities.

    What you’ll need to succeed
    Relevant housing knowledge is desirable.
    Experience of working with vulnerable service users who may be care leavers, ex homeless, ex offenders or suffer from alcohol and drug misuse or mental health issues.

    MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE AND ACCESS TO OWN VEHICLE.
