Your new company
This is a nationwide charity who partner with Ministry of Justice to support individuals coming close to their release date from prison who may not have alternative accommodation with sheltered accommodation. The charity aim to provide an advisory and signposting service to ensure the risk of homeless is reduced and the individuals have somewhere to go with their life after prison.

Your new role
You role as an Accommodation Adviser is to manage your caseload of individuals who will be made up of immediate releases and pre-planning for future releases. You will be responsible of developing your own pathways with housing providers to ensure you can provide the necessary advisory and support service to your clients which will allow the successful reduction in risk of homelessness.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of working within housing and have excellent housing knowledge with the ability to build rapport to get the best possible engagement from both your client group and also positive relationships with housing providers to generate possibility of referring. You will also need to be flexible of working between the hours of 8am – 7pm.

What you’ll get in return
This is a permanent position with an annual salary of £24,766. It is a 40 hour per week contract which requires only 35 hours of work and 5 hours of paid lunches.
