Morgan Hunt is working with a prestigious Charity based in London in search of a HR Officer to provide solid support to the HR team. You will extract and produce regular HR data as well as ad-hoc reports and management information for the Director and HR Business Partners.

This role would best suit someone with a comprehensive HR background. You must be Committed to dealing with a variety of people in a professional manner and convey a professional image. This is for a charity that provides supported accommodation for homeless people locally and provides support to young people with opportunities to develop the necessary life skills to find work and live independently.

Length of contract: 3 months initially, with a chance of extension

Pay: £13.70 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 37.5 HOURS

Location: Hybrid Role office located in London Office

Your role of HR Administrator will include:

  • Support the Human Resource team by organising disciplinary, grievance, diversity, sickness, maternity and capability issues interviews, hearings and appeals and distributing the appropriate paperwork in a timely way and assist in arranging and taking high quality minutes for both Disciplinary and Grievance hearings and appeal meetings.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain workforce information on the People HR system, ensuring that employee details are entered accurately and up to date information is processed appropriately. This Includes standard letter templates and forms, recruitment and training records, starters & leavers, and other electronic systems e.g. sickness process.
  • Ensure that HR transactions and staff changes are processed on People HR, using Moorepay to process payroll.
  • Provide support in the recruitment and selection process. This includes on boarding and off boarding candidates.
  • Responsible for the production of offer letters, references, right to work checks, DBS checks, occupational health screening, unconditional letters, contracts and equal opportunities statistics.
  • Undertake HR project work, as directed by Director of People and HR Business & People Partners.
  • Upload documents onto People HR and file papers to maintain accurate and up to date personal files for every member of staff ensuring all files including electronic files on systems are secure.
  • As a HR Officer you will need:

  • Experience using HR Databases (People HR)
  • Ability to handle confidential data in line with GDPR
  • Ability to manage your own workload
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with care
  • Level 3 certificate in HR or equivalent qualification
  • Membership of the chartered institute of Personnel and development
