Financial Business Analyst
One of our London based financial clients are currently recruiting for a Financial Business Analyst to join their team.
The Business Analyst will be a key role in supporting this clients Business Transformation program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Understanding of Finance processes for group reporting, consolidations, FP&A, and Financial Ops (Investment Fund, Private Equity, Family Office exposure desirable)
Experienced in the end-to-end application project management life cycle and working in an Agile project management environment. Agile certified (Desirable)
Experience of working with development teams (offshore/in house) or application vendors to implement new applications
Understanding of change management to ensure technology change is controlled and the business is supported through the change journey
Ability to identify and manage project, process and control risks
Demonstrable history of working in partnership with the business and key stakeholders to understand and document end to end business processes and data flows
Comprehensive knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM), process modelling tools and techniques
Ability to understand and accurately capture business requirements and to translate those
requirements into functional capabilities and to identify appropriate technology solutions.
Track record in process improvement through identification of process duplication, redundant tasks, inefficiency, and manual activities to support our process standardization, simplification,and automation efforts.
Strong Technical, Data and analytical skills.
Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (eg, Power BI) and using those tools to deliver impactful insights for end business users
Experienced in the design and delivery of applications within Office Power Platform (MS Power Automate, PowerApps), and exposure to workflow tools such as Nintex, RPA, etc.

Strong communication and documentation skills and an able to work in collaboration with business stakeholders at all levels.
Candidates with a financial background would be highly desirable for this role.
