This is a hybrid role but applicants must need to be able to travel to our Bristol office for some of the week.

This role is asenior project management role, leading on co-ordinated planning for HighIntensity Users (HIU) to the urgent and emergency care system as part of ournew Mental Health Integrated Access Hub initiative a system-wide, all ageshub, aimed at improving care for patients experiencing mental health crisis inBNSSG.

Hosted by BrisDoc, the post-holder will work collaboratively across arange of organisations from 999 to 111, mental health and Emergency departmentsto co-ordinate understanding and management for HIUs.

Main duties of the job

You will manage a completely new endeavour, ona system project to improve physical and mental health care for High IntensityUsers in the BNSSG urgent and emergency care system.

You will be leading a project on High IntensityUsers, working to ensure the appropriate governance between organisations is inplace, followed by a robust analysis of the system impact of HIUs across theUrgent and Emergency Care system. This will then inform the implementation ofsystems, processes and governance to deliver effective change and managementfor this cohort of patients, analysing the impact of any change fororganisational and system reporting.

You will support the equality, diversity and rightsof patients, carers and colleagues. You would also need to hold patient care asyour top priority holding true to our aim to provide patient care by people whocare.

This role will be a good fit for somebody who ispassionate about providing high quality healthcare to everybody includingmaking services accessible to those that use them frequently.

This role will work closely with the wider ProgrammeTeam who are delivering multiple initiatives on Mental Health urgent and crisiscare, including the delivery of a highly commended nationally leading MentalHealth Service. This role requires a strong understanding of how servicesoperate, in order to best identify and support High Intensity Users effectivelyand consistently.
