An exciting new role has been created at Smile TogetherDental CIC, working within our Operations and Commercial team, to support ourcontinuing business growth and development.

Reporting to our Deputy Head ofOperations and Commercial, thisposition will suit someone who has an excellent eye for detail and ademonstrable track record of working with performance data, supporting businessdevelopment and growth.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities will include (but are notlimited to):

Developing ourinternal business reporting framework to provide meaningful and comprehensivereports to the Smile Together Board, commissioners and colleagues

Developing datacapture and reporting packages that support our business development and growthstrategy

The opportunityto support major strategic projects and objectives

Taking an active part in our ServiceImprovement Programme, supporting colleagues in delivering demonstrable changesand improvements to the patient journey throughout each of our services

Tosupport senior leaders in providing comprehensive performance informationanalysis across the business. This will include the monthly production ofperformance reports for Board, SLT and other committees as required

Undertake analysis of complex, multi-sourced patientlevel data, transforming it into meaningful reports, supporting colleagues inunderstanding the results, and providing assurance around the quality andintegrity of the source data. To summarise and interpret results as requiredwith written analysis identifying and explaining trends and variations

Todesign, develop and build reports that meet the specified operational needs,which may then be developed as required into business intelligence dashboardtools. To support colleagues in accessing and understanding this information.This will include attendance at monthly performance and other meetings asrequired

Toensure performance reporting solutions are kept up to date to reflect changesto national guidance or other requirements, and to communicate this to all employeesthrough either written or verbal updates

Toensure technical patient-level and practice-level business planning (and other)data are transformed into meaningful reports, which include a variety ofanalytical methods to deliver the requirements

Toprovide data, reporting and understanding to support and monitor progressagainst Smile Togethers defined quality improvement metrics, businessresilience plan and strategic business development plans

Tosupport the Head of Marketing and Communications with data returns for theannual and other impact reports as well as internal performance reports(usually quarterly)

Toensure there is commonality of method applied to visualisation and dataanalysis, to form a set of standard data reports, share and collaborate withcolleagues to continually improve and refine the way we analyse data, toreflect national and local changes

Tolead on improvements in the capture of data within clinical / business systemsby promoting best practice, providing support and access to reports and / ortraining as identified. Toadvise and support operational processes, including formulation, implementation,and ongoing evaluation
