We are looking for a dynamic and committed AdvancedNurse Practitioner for our homeless and asylum seeker specialist generalpractice services at Anchor & Meridian in Coventry. To work as part of theclinical team and support the delivery of the acute clinical care for thepractice population.

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within HCRG CareGroup you will be joining a team that is caring and passionate, that are alwaysfocused on delivering the best clinical experience for our patients.

About the Anchor & Meridian:

The Anchor Centre is a medical centrespecifically designed to provide eligible patients including homeless andvulnerably housed adults with access to high quality healthcare within CoventryCity.

The Meridian Practice provides family doctorservices to asylum seekers and refugees in Coventry. Our mission is to providepatients in Coventry with high quality, easy and convenient access to a GP ornurse when they need it.

Main duties of the job

  • This post will be across both practices; 3 days at Anchor Centre – 2 Days at The Meridian Practice (Hours negotiable)
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice
  • Experience of working autonomously in a healthcare role (Primary or Secondary care)
  • People management experience
  • Knowledge of local and national healthcare agendas/strategy and policies and how they relate to the specific service.
  • Understand the legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities and accountability with regards to advanced level, autonomous practice.
  • Understand the impact of advanced practice roles on service delivery and their contribution to the multi-professional team
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with external partners

  • Relevant Masters level modules including Advanced Clinical Assessment & Management and Consultation Skills (or equivalent skills and experience)

  • Experience of treating minor injury and minor illness

Desirable

  • Leadership modules/ experience
  • Paediatric experience with the ability to recognising the sick child
  • Long term conditions
