We have a new opportunity for a Barista to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis based at our coffee shop in Erdington, Birmingham

YMCA Heart of England is a Christian charity providing a range of life-changing services for the local community. With a turnover of over £4m, we house over 300 young people, most of whom previously were homeless, and support them to get their lives back on track. We also care for pre-school children at our nursery and run various social enterprises to create employment and generate income for our charitable work.

With over 100 Staff and volunteers working for us and thousands of people using our many premises every year, we are an organisation committed to delivering the best possible service to our customers in line with our Christian ethos and values.

This exciting new venture as a Barista requires an experienced team player with strong barista skills and coffee shop experience to support the manager to build the business! Eden *more than coffee* is a social enterprise that donates  all  profits in support of disadvantaged young people whilst also providing apprenticeships and work experience opportunities too!

The successful Barista will have a real passion for coffee and excellent customer service to give customers the best experience possible. They will seek to inspire staff and customers through their passion and enjoy the buzz of helping others through their fantastic work.
