Role: Social Value Officer – Regeneration
Salary: £45,000 + Package
Location: Covering North, South and West London
The Role:
My client, who are a national contractor are seeking a Social Value Officer to join the established but ever-growing team. A leading UK construction and regeneration group providing property maintenance services to both the public & private sector. We provide planned and reactive maintenance to over 200,000 domestic properties nationwide and have a significant portfolio of large-scale framework refurbishment programmes. We refurbish and modernize approximately 10,000 homes per year and complete in excess of 300,000 repairs per year
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain network of external stakeholders and community partners including training providers, residents and public sector contacts.
MUST have Experience using Social Value Portal
Support data collating process and recording information for monthly/weekly client and internal reporting using social value calculators such as Social Value Portal.
Delivery on social value commitments in the contract to meet required deadlines and quality.
Complete case studies, social media and production of newsletters to communicate activities with the business and externally
Manage and support the recruitment process for pre apprentice trainees
Head point of contact for schools, colleges, and other provisions for coordinating work experience placements, careers evenings, mock interviews, site visits, and mentoring
Deliver commitments, such as job clubs, energy awareness sessions with residents, liaising with relevant external contacts to capture evidence data
Organize and run resident training days, to attract and invite attendees.
Responsible for recruitment process for traineeship programme ensuring robust progression routes for learners.
Must be able to create opportunities for those that have completed training programmes- employer engagement is key to create those opportunities.
Be able to use data and local insight and knowledge to develop targeted programmes to support issues relating to communities- such as poverty, ASB, capacity building, low educational attainment etc.
Able to engage with marginalised hard to reach groups such as ex-offenders, NEETs, and veterans
Must be personable and keen to get residents involved
Able to event plan for resident engagement days/ community activities
Must be able to bring communities together by using innovative and relevant ideas- that are sector driven
