Field Service Engineer

£30,000 – £40,000 + bonus and benefits

The Company

One of the leading providers of dental engineering maintenance and repair services is now looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their rapidly expanding service team.

As part of a large international dental manufacturing and wholesale business, this opportunity provides significant training and exposure to a wide range of different manufacturers of complex dental equipment.

Duties

As the Service Engineer your role will involve the installation, fault finding and repair and regular servicing of dental equipment such as X-Rays, compressors, dental lights, suction pumps, autoclaves, dental chairs etc. In addition, the role will also involve carrying out mandatory tests, site surveys and equipment replacement.

Other duties:

  • Liaise with customers ensuring a high level of service

  • Carry out both electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair

  • General engineering administration as required

  • Ensure all administration is carried out as required

  • Travel

    You will need to be flexible to travel as part of a field-based role, most of the work will be within the M25.

    Experience/skills required

    Essential

  • Qualification or equivalent in a technical discipline such as engineering, electrical, mechanical etc.

  • Prior experience in field-based, service and repair engineering role

  • Strong electro-mechanical background e.g., ex-military, ticketing machines, ATM’s, washing machines/dryers, autoclaves, medical, dental, endoscope re-processors, catering/laundry equipment etc.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, team work.

  • Full driving licence

  • Desirable

    Dental or medical engineering experience (biomedical, EBME, EME or clinical engineering all suitable)

    Package/benefits include:
