Job summary
We are seeking a Registered Paramedic to join our growing team of healthcare professionals working with newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative services for the asylum seeker and migrant communities within the Wakefield District. This role will support asylum seekers and resettled persons living across the District.
Main duties of the job
The role will focus on the assessment and managementof patients with mental and physical health co-morbidies, helping patients regaintheir abilities so that they can lead more fulfilled lives. Duties will includeconducting physical and psychological assessment of clients, developingtreatment plans, making referrals and utilising support available from well-beingservices and other local services.
