PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
FULL TIME POST
SALARY WTE £27500 – £30,000 (with significant opportunities for pay enhancement over period of 3-5 years subject to performance, service delivery growth etc)
LOCATION NORTH WEST/CHESHIRE AREA
OFFICE BASED – WARRINGTON, CHESHIRE
An extremely exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manager/Service Development Manager to join our team.
This role is part of a new start-up division of our organisation in the Healthcare sector, recruiting personnel to our professional clinical database.
Previous experience of working in a healthcare services provision and/or healthcare personnel deployment related post would be advantageous.
ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT
It is our mission to grow and evolve all our services whilst also ensuring that our teams provide the highest quality of care.
You will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to promote and raise awareness of our healthcare services and identify/support business development opportunities.
You will deliver clinical operational performance and build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote and raise awareness of our services.
You will be responsible for the effective planning, delivery, and evaluation of these identified projects.
Key working relationships will include clinicians, service users and wider stakeholders. This will include appropriate risk management controls, securing stakeholder engagement and active participation. You will track and report project performance in terms of finance, quality, and key milestones. Through leadership and delivery of nominated projects, the post-holder will drive and support business and cultural changes across services and to identify opportunities to improve service improvement and operational productivity; and to support the development and implementation of project plans. The post-holder will ensure that nominated projects are adhering to the Governance arrangements that are in place. This will include reporting to track progress and benefits realisation in order to provide assurance to the Board with respect to delivery of Operational & Development plans.
The successful candidate will also be given opportunities to develop their improvement and project management knowledge and skills.
SET UP OF CLINICIAN BANK
The post-holder will have the following responsibilities:
Set-up of database to include marketing, advertising to create initial interest in joining this bank from potential personnel
Creating Database/Bank for all registered locum personnel, including retention of all required personnel information for records (ID, Qualifications, Previous Experience, CVs, References etc)
Build and grow the portfolio to understand their current and future recruitment needs
Work as an integral member of a team, motivating and communicating effectively
Effective ongoing marketing of the services, monthly reporting to Board
Development of the organisation website and marketing functions of healthcare services
Project management, delivery, reporting and evaluation studies

- Using appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining work areas in a tidy and safe way and free from hazards
- Reporting potential risks identified

Attend training update courses as appropriate to maintain competent standards within their role
Alteration of hours may be required to cover annual leave and sickness.
